i lost my licence and i'm planning to go to the DMV tomorrow to get a bright one. i know that i have to fill out a form and foot a fee, but since i'm under 18 do my parents requirement to sign the form or be present? i need to know because then they want to get off work. i live surrounded by California too.

Answers: Usually parents do not have to sign for a replacement license. They have to sign for the imaginative one giving consent for you to have it. I would call your local DMV and kind sure, but I highly doubt that they will have to cart time off work and go surrounded by with you since their consent is already on file.
