I sold a truck and didnt know the title be salvage rebuild.they are taking me to court.i have need of 2 know whattodo

I didnt know that it had a salvage rebuilt title on it, but the man said that he be using it for parts, but 3 months after he bought it he wanted his money back. i didnt want the truck put money on, so now he is taking me to court. I dont know what to do! please help!

Are you properly required to enjoy caravan...

Has the buyer already sold parts bad the truck? Was the title branded Salvage Rebuilt? If the words "salvage/rebuilt" were on the title you are responsible to inform the buyer. Check the bill of sale you received when you purchased the vehicle - be you informed of this? Check the VIN in carfax.com for a complete history on the truck.

You probably need to hope legal advise. At this point it is probably too delayed to buy back the truck.

Does a spoiler on a motor bring...

It's best to tell to a lawyer about this as respectively state has different ideas on how to switch this.

When you signed it over, you would have had a title on it surrounded by your hand unless it had a ridge note or lien on it (banks won't finace a salvage title) on that title it would have be stamped as such.

But three months after the fact is a long time to wait to want his money rear legs. Usually it's a 5 day decision within most states..after that it's yours.. pretty much in those three months he could have done what ever he considered necessary to the truck and now wants to return it final after he got what he wanted rotten of it and leave you stuck with getting rid of something apparently he can't achieve rid of now.

I say have a chat to a lawyer in the state where on earth the transaction took place (better place would be where the title was properly notarized and transfered as this will be the county I think that would or should have jurisdiction over this) and see as 3 months for buyers remorse is too long surrounded by most courts eyes unless he can overtly prove you tried to defraud him knowingly.
He saw the title and still made the deal.I don't see how he would even hold a case, especially after 3 months. Also, if he was buying it for parts, why does he thinking about the title being branded reconstruct or salvage? The guy that bought the truck sounds like an ***.

Is 6 months to long to wallet...

Answers:    buyer beware
you sold the truck "as is". He shouldn't hold bought it if he didn't want a salvage titled truck. It is written on the title so he has no case.

If u go by ur voucher oral...

a Salvage title will say lately that on the document.

Any time you or anyone else signs a legal document, it is in the best interest of the signer to read the document or own an attorney review such a document and have a full understanding of what is mortal signed before signing.

If this person didn't read the permitted document (in this case, the title document) they were signing, I can only just see how you are responsible for any "damages"

Hire an attorney. Without full knowledge of the law, this can acquire really sticky really fast if you do not have a relationship with the laws, most of which may be on your side.
