What convenience do body shops usually use...

Answers:    Sorry, but from your description you wouldn't normally qualify for a neediness license. Most kids would qualify following your desciption, thats why schools provide college buses. Hardship licences for minors are as a rule provided when there is a sick single parent or some type of medical issue. Most states set down hardship as the deficiency of a drivers license would cause suffering or loss of wherewithal to obtain straightforward materials like medication and food.

Of course you are free to apply, but expect an uphill battle. You will stipulation to meet alike requirments as a licensed driver, including completion of a driving school, license check, etc (depending on the state). Without your moms permission is will be impossible, but that will probably be the easier market compared to convincing the DMV that its a harship just because you don't want to ride the bus or saunter to school.

Here are some provisions from the Texas DMV code where on earth exceptions are made for students that ALSO work. If your state has a similar provision, in that is NO public transportation, and you have NO no licensed family unit members that enjoy a car (ooops, you spoilt that one)....

(F) The applicant attends school and must work to provide the core necessities for existence of the family and the transporting of the applicant would create a misery on the applicant's family if other own flesh and blood members must be not there from their employment to transport the applicant to or from work and other means of transportation are not available

(G) The applicant requests transportation to and from school and arts school bus or public transportation is not provided or unavailable. Travel to involve yourself in in institution activities such as sports, strip, etc., will not be considered a sufficient reason to establish an unusual monetary hardship.

Is it a means of access to...

The "someone" who told you you might be eligible to acquire a hardship license at 15 evidently doesn't know what a hardship license is.

Generally, a misfortune license is one given to someone who has lost their license due to a conviction, usually for driving below the influence, that allows them to drive ONLY to work and only after they enjoy high risk insurance within place and have file an SR22 with the state, not for someone underage to drive simply because they have other wanted to.

I'm sure at hand are ways to get to institution without relying on someone to drive you at hand, and that would not convince the state you have a neediness.

Now, that being said, some states do indeed allow neediness licenses for younger culture, but there are restrictions.

13 AAC 08.355. Special driver's license (hardship license)

(a) Because of destruction, incapacitating illness or injury or other unusual conditions in the instantaneous family, a special driver's license will, within the department's discretion, be issued to a person between 14 and 16 years of age who must drive a motor vehicle to

(1) prevent financial difficulty for the person's family; or

(2) transport an in poor health or disabled family partaker.

(b) A special license issued under this provision will expire on the licensee's date of birth as provided surrounded by AS 28.15.101 (a), or sooner if the reasons for issuing the special license are not longer sufficient.

(c) A note requesting a special license must be signed by the applicant's parent or guardian, specify the conditions of hardship, and indicate for what interval of time the special license is necessary.

(d) An applicant for a special license must draw together all requirements for a regular driver's license, next to the exception of age.

That happens to be the specific rule for Alaska, but within all the states that allow it, the rules are similar. You didn't see a "I can't bring back to school" in the chronicle, did you?
