Most states hold a rule of three.
Your drivers license, registration and place of residence can not be three different places.
Your insurance card may also fall below this rule.
The sole exception that I know of are those on active duty contained by the military. This is because to the military you are still a Fl resident.
Even with this rule, it some times comes down to how ticked stale the officer is. One time I got a ticket because my drivers license residence did not game the address on my insurance card. But that is a different story. Except to point out that if a canon enforcement officer wants too he can (will) furnish you a ticket. Then you can either correct it to his smugness or fight it because you give attention to you are right.

Follow the rules for the state that is your legitimate residence. For your spouse (if you have one) it may not be one and the same. He or she may have to.

Finally, you do own the option of registering the vehicle in FL. You enjoy no obligation to even register the coup¨¦ there.
weird, I be in the armada and went from florida to VA aswell. VA dmv are assholes, so ya you'll probly own to get a license, Just call upon your local DMV or look on line.

As long as your declared state of residence is Florida, your Florida license is good. You do not involve a VA license. You do not even need to register it contained by VA, you can still have a FL registration as resourcefully.
