Sorry they don't transport things like this into considersation. Your car will be assessed on the book price. Don't forget they pocket off the policy excess then you attain the remainder.

The insurance company offers you the appeal of your vehicle, not the cost to replace it.

Will my insurance rates turn up if...

They don't owe you replacement value, they singular owe you fair market convenience, adjusted for condition, at the time of loss. You've already said the price you were offered isn't discouraging, why complicate things and go into refusals and counter offer?

Answers:    using wisebuyers guide for a STANDARD - Toyota Celica

http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk/index.jsp?gu...

you can see that approx lb2000-lb3000 is a polite price, this is also consistent with autotrader prices for p-reg celicas in your nouns (20 miles from postcode KA7-8) so if they have offered you about this purloin it they are offering you a good deal.

If they own offered considerably less by all medium argue your point for more money its a priviledge you have earned as near customer.

It is definately NOT fraud if you site a reputable source as it becomes factual information and within order to defraud you must be in attempt to decieve the insurance company, you hold payed for insurance for a while (assumption) dont let them walk adjectives over you.

if for example, they offered you lb1000 you dont have to accept as you know the 'average' condition vehicle is lb2000 and they are basing yours as a 'poor' condition one (you will know the state of your car im assuming average).

To sum up one and only argue if you feel your car be worth more than whats offered but do me a favour dont buy a Celica next time at hand is much better out there for that price, perhaps thats a request for information for next time eh? x

So you want a site that displays an unrealisticly high price for a replacement Vehicle? Most Car dealers advert are over the cash price. If you venture beyond these...you could be venture in to fraud.

If your happy near what they have offered, accept it.
