Is it okay to verbs an out-of-state title if you've changed your license to the current state?

Okay--I've looked on the dmv website, but am still somewhat confused, and before I spend too much time, I thought I'd see if anyone have any insight on here. here's the situation:

I am a grad student in WI. When I come here in 2002, I have purchased and paid rotten a car within IN, so I had the title surrounded by my maiden name. I kept paying IN taxes and license my car within IN because I was told students couldn't be residents.

I get married last year contained by June. I dragged my feet shifting my name b/c I know it would be a pain contained by the ***. (I was right). I concluded up getting my license in WI contained by 03/07 b/c turns out we COULD change over to residency, they don't protection as long as we pay the right fees and taxes. The saloon I had brought near me had already be relegated to the garage b/c we had a tentative car (bought/titled within WI) that we used almost exclusively.

I got busy and simply forgot more or less my old vehicle. Then my license renewals came contained by the mail.

HUA HONG TRADING dutiful salvage buyer?

Answers:    It shouldn't be firm to go to DMV and hold your car registared surrounded by WI. Your the owner and you moved so there sholdn't be any problems. WI should be at ease to registar it for you so they can make money and export tax, off of you. It should be relatively glib since you already have a WI drivers license.

Is Western General vehicle insurance any apt?

You should know how to sell the motor and sign it over to the buyer, even though the title is out-of-state and still in your maiden moniker. But you should first ask the DMV if it's going to cause any problems near the signing-over process. If they say it could complicate things, dance ahead and get the title transferred to your state and underneath your married name first (which won't be any problem), and THEN put on the market the car.
