My car has only just been written-off by the insurance company as category C, following an accident. Can I provide this vehicle to someone who might want to fix it??

The insurance company's sometimes keeps the vehicle to resell it to scrape dealer for salvage or weight sale surrounded by recyclable use.
Call your insurance carrier and ask them what they will do beside it. Don't forget, they may also offer you a lower claim figure if you save the vehicle and you have to decide if it is worth it or not to preserve the vehicle and will you get enough money to despose of it your self.
