Liability vs Full Coverage??

I don't know much about insurance can someone tell me how liability and full coverage insurance works?

Ran a red bedside light surrounded by...

all the above is correct - i'll donate more information

From answeree 3 said you need full coverage for a new coup¨¦ but the trick to getting full coverage is when you do apply for one you ask them that you ONLY NEED Comprehensive and Collision coverage/ 5/15 /at least $500 deductible/if you have medical insurance, dont buy medical surrounded by your coverage also your own med insurance will cover that part.

another thing is "deductible". When an quirk occurs and you report to your insurance, what ever your deductible is you will have to foot that out of the difference so lets say you own $500 deductible and the cost to repair your car is $600. that means the insurance company will wage only $100! Another thing is the greater your deductible, the cheaper it will be for insurance vise versa to a lower deductible which is lowest is $250 then your insurance will sky rocket.
"Full Coverage" is an _extreemly_ poor way of describing insurance. Really, it does not exist. It's not a coverage or policy and if you ask 10 relations what it is, you will probably get 8 different answers.

There is liabilty coverage (Bodily Injury and Property Damage) that addresses injuries to others and impair of property of others. There is also Comprehensive and Collision coverage that addresses damage to your own vehicle. Other consequently that, there is also usually Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury coverage that covers you in crust the others person's BI is no sufficient and also Uninsured Motorist Property Damage which does the same think as UMBI except it address damage to your vehicle (it's not offered in frequent states).
Liability will cover you somewhat if you cause an accident and lead to damage to their car or motivation their injuries. If your state requires 25/50/5, that would mean you would be protected if you cause 25,000$ to one individual, 50,000$ to two or more empire, and the 5 is 5,000$ to their property (car damage usually, but if you hit a house, post office, your insurance will cover lone 5,000$...so, if you cause 25,000$ car wound, you will have to pay 20,000$ out of your own pocket.)

Collision insurance will reimburse you if you are hit by anyone short insurance, or if the other driver has only 5,000$ property mar in his liability policy, you will be reimbursed 25,000$. minus the deductible.

Uninsured motorist insurance will cover you for your injuries if hit by an uninsured motorists. If you have 50,000$ contained by costs in the accident (medical), I assume uninsured motorist insurance will salary the 50,000$ if the motorist is carrying the 25,000$ state minimum for one person.

Comprehensive will cover you if you hit a deer.(and I think if your coup¨¦ is stolen, or in a hail storm).

Will my auto insurance cover any accident...

Liability only covers the motor you hit. Full coverage covers the car you drive and often have a deductible that must be met before coverage kicks within.

Answers:    Liability across the world means, coverage that pays the other guy when you are at fault for an fluke. There are lots and lots of "ifs" and "buts" with it, and frequently there are other coverages similar to medical payments you might be required to carry.

Generally, liability is what you need to properly drive on the road in your state.

Full coverage isn't an insurance residence, but generally, it is understood to propose, liability plus collision plus comprehensive - what you need to satisfy a loan. Because it's not precise, some relations think it includes rental car coverage, some don't. Some ethnic group think it includes towing, some don't.

My STRONG recommendation, is don't by your insurance coverage base on one of these two labels. Go in to a local agent, sit down, permit them explain the coverages line by line, so you know ALL the coverages involved surrounded by liability, ALL the "full coverage" options. So you know what you get.

If you're buying over the internet, you don't enjoy an agent to do this for you, and you're likely going to stay confused. So use a local agent.

What the first two said. Plus if you are financing the car the bank will require you to hold full coverage. Unless it's a real piece of crap car, procure full coverage. That way if someone steals it you aren't taking the bus to work for 6 months.

For someone who know closely almost sports...

liability insurance means you ONLY have insurance for OTHER population. So.. if you hit someone and are at fault.. your insuarnce will cover their damages and injury.

Full coverage has coverage to YOUR vehicle as resourcefully. so regardless of fault in an twist of fate they will take care of your vehicle.
