Hello,
I am a Director of Marketing at an Import/Wholesale Fish company. I am trying to save money by not going to our CPA whom get us the Louisiana Fish Permit and MC #. I have no clue what and where on earth to get these license and permits.
If you can, please explain within the best detail possible and what I have to do to receive these licenses. Here is our situation
18 foot truck next to Refer unit carrying Frozen and Fresh Fish
Located contained by Dallas
Seeking to deliver to Restaurants in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas.
Answers: Ok, that's rather a few questions, I'll try to answer them adjectives as best I can.
1st off, the 18 foot reefer truck, would inevitability to be registered as an "apportioned" vehicle - if & only if it is contained by excess of 26,000 lbs. If it isn't, then regular Texas Commercial License Plates will do. Apportioned in recent times means that you are registered within all of the States that you're doing business surrounded by. You can get info more or less this (a) your local DMV.
As for the US DOT numbers, again contact your local DMV. The numbers get issued from them.
A lot of this info can be obtain via the Internet.
