No claims bonus. my glitch why?

I going to loose my no claims bonus thanks to some fire bug who decided my saloon would make a good bbq.
Dont capture me wrong, if I was well bad I would be more than happy to dump the car for the sake of my ncb but I involve my car and cant afford to replace it myself so why should we loose our ncb when its not our fault and cant find the person/s responsible.
Its other the less fortunate that get targetted and downfall up worse off. is it just me who think this is bang out of order?

Vandalism is not your fault but it is not the shortcoming of the insurance company either. It's not a no blame bonus - it's a no claims bonus. If you make a claim - you lose your no claims bonus. That is the path it works. It is better to have the insurance and lose the no claims bonus than pay for the repairs yourself or buy a hot car. There are schemes around which protect your no claims bonus but you probably enjoy to pay more for those.
