i have heard you can whip the car to where they public sale insurance and title. give them the Vin # on the car and they can look it up, and they will suggest if you can direct a title fo you or history on the car. Good Luck...

Test retake after disqualification?

um, sorry but if the car be left at his place for 5 yrs. no one come to claim it and he sells it to you without authorization of the owner you and him can go to jail. Him selling you the sports car and you buying it. Come on now.. Did he have the key to the car? The only article is um, if he gives you a bill of sale doesn't aid much because you need the title, even if you had the title and he sold the vehicle without permission you both still step to jail because that it is the guy who left it, his property. Unless the guy who vanished it wrote a note and said he is in charged of selling the saloon after so many yrs. Good Luck!!

Learning to drive?

Don't buy it.

If the car is not in his term..he's not the owner of it..he does not have the legal authority to Dutch auction the vehicle. Do not buy the car unless he can produce a valid title to the vehicle with his heading on the front of it as the owner.

I can pick any vehicle on the street - sell it to you - give you a bill of public sale - and there is nothing you can do. You can't achieve the car because I did not have the authority to public sale it (I'm not the owner) and you don't get the car. Unless you can find me to sue me and in truth get your judgment remunerated - you are out all of your money with no sports car to show for it.

Heck.I could sell you the Golden Gate Bridge and give you a bill of Dutch auction. Does not make you the legal owner of the bridge - I did not enjoy the authority to sale it.

Car insuance after crash?

Answers:    I would talk to someone at the DMV and hold them run the VIN off the car to see if it is tolen or what. He can grasp teh vehicle in his name by wadding for a mechanics lien based on storage charges but he can not legally provide it to you withut the title. If you have given him the money I feel impossible for you. Take it to the police or the DMV and plead ignorance.

Good Luck

UK speed fine for international driving licence...

You could go to the DMV or County Clerk (different within every state) and ask them for a title search. They would need to know the VIN# from the vehicle. They might be capable of tell you the owner so you can try and contact them about the vehicle. Without a title you shouldn't even be capable of register it and drive it, so it would be useless to you.
You need to register the car and can use the bill of mart if its in his name. I would check the plates out first to see who owns it or too construct sure it aint stolen firstly or was deregistered because of faults or the plates are the wrong ones for the coup¨¦ by checking against the chasis number etc.

Car cuts contained by front of me...

Don't buy it. If you do, you are throwing away $300 on a car that is possibly stolen. Cars are sold by title. bills of public sale establish what you paid for them. If you need it for parts, no problem. If you want to bring back it in your name and drive it, you can't. You purely solved his problem of getting rid of a car that was parked at his house, and remunerated him $300 for the privilege of doing so.
