Ive just be told that an mot is lb50. Im sure I only compensated lb30 last year.. Is this the norm for the rest of GB
Answers: All garages presently are over onto computerised testing. With the outmoded paper conducting tests a competent MOT tester could do 2 tests an hour.
Now the computerised system which is hooked up to VOSA just allows one test per hour.
This is the explanation the cost of an MOT is so high.
