Question About Drivers License...?

I recently moved from the US to England. I know the driving age here is getting ready to be risen to 18. However, I can still achieve my US license at 16 because we are going to go back every summer. When I turn 16 and acquire my US license will I be allowed to drive in England? If you know the answer or know where I can find it (other than google cuz I've tried that!) that'd be great!!! Thanks sooooo much! xx Katherine

Try calling the Department of Motor Vehicles and see what they voice about it. I would recommend one that is within the state you plan to drive in. Good luck!!

Answers:    If you own a valid US license and are a tourist in England, you can drive using your US license. If you are now a resident of England, you can't win a US license as a visiting tourist from England, and if you are a resident of England you are under their rules.
