Question more or less a salvage vehicle title?

About 3 months ago I purchased a Honda Civic from a small dealership in Orlando, FL who refurbish and resells vehicles. After picking up my third 30 light of day temporary ticket they told me they were have trouble getting the title from the auction in New Jersey. They said when the title arrives they would treat it as an "get underway title" and refund my taxes and fees. So I call the Florida DMV and they told me that the car have a salvage title and that it would be unlawful for a dealer to use an start title. Now the dealer have the title in foot and insists the title is clean. The carfax history report does not mention any salvage status but DOES vote that the "Title was issued to insurance company"
All further attempts to catch someone on the phone at the DMV were met next to voice mail and "too busy to oblige."

Does "Title issued to Insurance company" always expect "salvage?"

Can a salvage title in New Jersey somehow receive a verbs title in Florida?

Any answers or proposal would be appreciated.

How can i find a mucch cheaper...

Answers:    Sorry, but yes indeed "Title issued to insurance company" always channel the title will now be salvage at best, and cast-offs at worst. If it's a salvage title, you will have a complicated time getting insurance on it, and there may be an inspection required to produce it eligible to be driven. If it's a junk title, you hold a parts only sports car.

I have hear of cars in other states mortal run through Florida to hide a salvage title, so possibly that is what happen, but the whole piece is suspicious I'd say.

You might want to discuss this near an attorney. I would think the DMV would own the final word and they have already identified it as a salvage title.

Comprehensive Insurance?

I would not settle for what they are offering you. A "salvage" title routine that the car be totaled and someone or some company bought the car from an insurance company and put it put money on together.

The people you're dealing beside in Orlando know they are doing wrong and will articulate or do just give or take a few anything to make you adopt the title they're trying to give you.

A sports car with a salvage title is ANYTHING BUT CLEAN and worth far smaller amount than it would be with a verbs title.

Don't be taken in by Car Fax. They lone know what is submitted to them about a vehicle. I bought a coup¨¦ from a dealer here surrounded by Florida and they insisted the car be clean because here was nought listed next to Car Fax. I found out after contacting the previous owner that the car have in certainty be severely wrecked and never reported. He just fixed it and took it straight to the merchant.

Contact the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles and seek their council. They are more than likely to help consumers and they will also budge to great lengths to put dishonest saloon dealers out of business. I would return with those phone numbers and call from the trader that sold you the car. Make them fully aware of the top you're about to put together and don't settle for anything less that what the DMV say you should.
