Hi. I was in a motor accident about 2 months ago. The guy hit me. I never call the police to file a report. (my cell phone was motionless, and he was hesitant to give the name them because he was obviously drunk.) the wounded wasnt bad, so i decided to tolerate it go. however, we did exchange insurance information.
today i got a epistle in the mail from his insurance company (progressive) they've be trying to contact me but since the guy gave them the wrong information, they didnt have my correct given name and address. i tried calling the claims specialist today from his insurance company, but he didnt answer the phone.
my question is, what exactly could he want? what's going to happen? i dont enjoy to pay for his damages do i? i need some support...thanks.

Answers: Sad lesson to learn! The guy is probably trying to turn the table on you and say you hit him. Since you didn't file a claim..but you give him your insurance info.its his word against yours. I hope I'm wrong.
