Salvage Cars?

I was wondering, can I buy a salvage vehicle thats hit, I don't
own a bodyshop or have a rebuilders license.I am a bodyman,
I would close to to buy something, fix it and get plates and
insurance. What is the process after buying the motor fixing it,
and getting it straight with the dmv for plates. I'm not concerned
give or take a few losing on resale.Hope you guys can help me out.

Is this true?

You didn't mention your state, and that's major as some states have different rules than others. In some a salvage title is a "junk" title, and the vehicle can one and only be used for parts. In others it can be inspected, certified, and allowed on the road again. Unfortunately within most once it gets a salvage title, that stays near it forever, which makes it difficult to provide or trade it, and also causes problems when you step to get insurance. Only a few companies will insure them, and those that do will transport up to 40% off any money you own coming as a result of loss because of the salvage status.

Check your local law beforehand you do this. Or revise your question to include your country or state.

Suspended drivers license?

Body man - cool -
do you do collision work? LOL

Alright man - yea you buy it fix it - capture it all in place for the road again.

Now you have to catch it saftey inspected.
Similar to a MOT inspection.

After that you will get a reciept that clears it person road worthy.

You take that to the DMV and get hold of your rebuilt title for it.

I am due to gain my coupé...

Answers:    In the state of Illinois you can restructure a vehicle and have it inspected and titled. Be sure to hold all of your receipts etc. After the vehicle have been repaired it will enjoy to first pass a sanctuary inspection, and then be taken to an inspection station for further inspection of documents etc. The levy for the inspection is $94.00 and the title transfer allowance is $65.00.
Go to www.dmv.org and click on IL to start, next click on state regulations lower than buying and selling. There is a list of inspection stations contained by Illinois and procedures. It is not easy and the wheel in Illinois DMV don't turn thoroughly fast.

Car title?

Once the repairs are made, you must hold the car inspected by State Patrol or whoever does sanctuary inspections in your state. You will provide adjectives receipts for parts/repairs that were made. You will provide the bill of public sale from whom you purchased the car, you must own a properly released title. Some insurnace companies won't insure cars with salvage/rebuilt brands, consider this until that time making your purchase/repairs. When you go to the DMV, adjectives the above documents are required, also. Your new title will be branded next to the salvage/rebuilt, and if you sell the vehicle, you are legally bound to disclose this info to the alien buyer.
