i am new surrounded by usa and i have come here for studies...the problem is my univ. is 40 mins away from my home...and here here is no one to aid me...i ll have to drive alone...i ahve a long-lasting license...and i hace also taken driving classes..but i dont have the confidence to drive contained by traffic..also i m not familiar beside the roads...my aunt has agreed to give somebody a lift me in the mornings but she too is startled to come wit hme alone in the traffic...i esp. enjoy problems with the gone turn and changing lane..wht to do?
Just drive close to most Americans do - Talking on a cell phone, putting on makeup, eating a sandwich, drinking a cup of coffee, reading a magazine and fiddling next to radio all at matching time. You'll blend in a short time ago fine.

can you embezzle a different route that is smaller number stressful, but may take longer?
can you pilfer transit?
can you find someone to share driving with? you could put a see up at school or craigslist or something
Answers: I was a somewhat experienced driver - but had just ever driven in countries that drive on the departed side of the road.
My employer had prepaid a rental saloon which I picked up at the airport. So - I had be in the USA for underneath an hour and already behind the rudder of a car, within a strange city.
This had be really worrying me. My own experience was that after a hours of daylight I was totally confident again. I did craft one major blunder but cause no grief for anyone. I wonder if it is partly because we see so masses American movies, that we subconsciously have "some experience" driving on the wrong side of the road, even if we discern we don't?
My advice would be to plan your route and practice it at a light-traffic time. Do it 2 or 3 times. Take it slowly. Be REALLY alert. I suspect you will find the transition much easier than you expected. I fully become conscious your fear of departed hand turns (as clue, WATCH other traffic and do as it does). But really, you should touch happy next to lane changes. You do them ALL the time and should hold them in any country - you should be passion confident about those.
(To make available another clue - there is a city within Australia where right turns [equivalent to American departed turns] are done by sitting in the departed lane. When the light turns red, you turn. Now that as to be the worlds weirdest law. Again, you keep watch on others and do as they do, within reason).
But, if you are driving for the first time, and never driven much, that could be a tad different.
