Answers:    Since the vehicle is rightfully in your heading, unless you sign the title over to him/her, they cannot sell the sports car. The only potential problem I can see next to this is if there are any unpaid tickets on the sports car. You would then own a problem with registering a vehicle within your name unless the tickets are salaried. If there are no outstanding tickets, consequently no liability once your name is signed. I would product a copy to keep for the transcript and send it tally requested so you have a signature of someone stating they received the document. This is within the event that their story changes.

Because it be in your first name he can't sell it or verbs it over to someone else that is why he desires you to get another ownership and sign it so it can be sold or transfered.
