Tax beside a Registration Certificate or New Keeper Supplement – in party or by post

You can tax contained by person at any Post Office(R) branch that issues rates discs, or by post to a selected Post Office(R) branch or DVLA local organization.

Take or send:

1. Registration Certificate or New Keeper Supplement .
2. Completed V10 ‘Vehicle licence application’.
3. Insurance pass or cover note – must be valid when the import tax disc comes into force .
4. Valid MOT certificate - if the saloon is over three years old - must be valid when the due disc comes into force.
5. The payment for vehicle rates

The New Keeper Supplement (Your partners brother should hold given this to your partner when he sold the car to her. It can just be used for taxing for two months from the date you bought your vehicle. If it’s out of date, you’ll call for to apply for a Registration Certificate in your term.
