Ok, here's the thing. I do enjoy a PERMIT to drive (not the Driver license card-- just the permit).. I am practicing beside my husband (who has DL). And sometimes i help yourself to my 7 month old son beside us. My relatives said that it is illegal to pilfer the baby while i am practicing. Is that really true?

Answers: I just read the California DMV online. It say if you are under 18 you cannot own other minors with you. If over 18, no mention of passenger (other than the required driver with license).
