Just curious but I saw a tow behind log splitter today and it didn't enjoy a plate on it. Don't they have to be registered as a trailer. It be about 5-6' long 3.5' wide open.
Answers: It depends on the state or province, but a log splitter isn't really a trailer, so is quite regularly not an item that can be registered. Look at tow-behind cement mixers, and welders, many states and provinces don't own registration for them either.
