I just tried to attain an online auto insurance quote from Geico.com
When I was innards out the form, it said:
"You must either decline Uninsured Motorist Property Damage or decline the Collision coverage."
Why would it ask me this? It seem like these two are two different things. But the page won't allow me to travel on unless I pick the Unisured Motorist Property Damage OR Collision coverage, not both.
Gieco is the worst insurance company going. I'd like to step on that little **** (green gieco) that they use. First of adjectives when obtaining insurance coverage for your vehicle, there are infallible factors that you are looking for. If your vehicle is financed through the bank, later naturally you enjoy to have collision on the coup¨¦ so that the insurance company gets rewarded off. Another factor is the year of your sports car. Anything over 10 years old and not financed, don't bother near getting collision. The insurance company is going to profit especially when you have a $500 deductible. If the vehicle is financed, accept the coverage, except, don't bother.
Uninsured Motorist Property Coverage
Pays damages for property caused by an uninsured driver or hit and run driver who is rightfully responsible for the accident.
Collision
Pays the actual bread value of damages to your covered auto (up to the auto's actual brass value) caused by an impact near another vehicle or object. The amount of your deductible will be subtracted from any settlement. You may want to consider this coverage if your auto is seven years antediluvian or newer.
Answers: What state are you in? In these states (NJ, NY, PA, VT, MA), you can beyond doubt have both. NH have odd UMPD law but you can still have it next to collision coverage.
This is one of the reasons you should give the name an agent and not buy online. Call a local independent agent, get quotes, find out almost this UMPD OR collision thing (if it is statewide or merely GEICO). Have the coverages explained to you, etc. Then, if you decide you still do not want an agent, after go online & receive quotes. This way you are going surrounded by educated & can brand better insurance decisions. You may not really be positive money with GEICO, I time their prices all the time, especially when homeowners or tenant coverage & auto coverage are written together. Also, if you have an agent, you gain to call them & ask question & they can also help you if you enjoy a claim. You also can go to their bureau & see someone in human being. That is their job, specifically what they are there for. You are not calling a name center hundreds of miles away that have no hypothesis who you are.

If you merely passed your driving assessment...
