First thing..Don't type surrounded by all caps. It's really annoying and strong to read. Second, If the police have a report they should be able to hand over you the contact information. Third...don't drive without insurance.
Was your computer in your saloon when the accident happen or DO YOU ALWAYS SHOUT.

Hope that your not contained by a "No Pay, No Play" state like LA. If in one of those states, you won't know how to collect for your property damage. If you are not in one of those states, you can collect. Obtain the police report and contact the person's insurance company.
You are going to hold to file a claim with the other insurance company. Even if you don't hold insurance, if the other company finds their driver at fault they should pay for the actual lolly value of your totaled vehicle (unless there is some directive in your state barring an uninsured driver from recovery). The police report should state the other drivers insurance info. If it doesn't, if it only list the plate or VIN #, then I would recommend filing a claim beside your company. While they wont be able to cover the damages to your car, you can ask the claim adjuster to run the plate or vin # for you. In lots states they can pull the insurance info and file a claim next to them on your behalf. Otherwise if your info is on the police report and the driver of the other car reported it to their company they will likely phone you or send you a contact letter near their information on it. BTW, just so you know there is an outside unsystematic that the other company could find you at fault, even if you truly weren't. This sometimes happens contained by light disputes or lane change disputes. Unfortunately if this happen the other company will send you to collections in writ to try to get the money back for their insured. Unfortunately its happen a few times where I have have to send a claimant to collections that I personally feel wasn't at fault because I had to watch over my insured for one reason or another and deny the claimants claim. So make sure subsequent time you pay your bill. It can really save you alot of headache.

Answers:    Her insurance should still pay if she was at blame. If you were at fault...whoa Nelly, you are contained by for some MAJOR problems. You should ask a lawyer about this, it would be worth the department visit and could pay huge dividends. I hope you bookish something here (not trying to rub salt into the wounds, really we all label mistakes). Remember, there are more important things than a sports car, like you health...count your blessing. Keep your herald up. Good luck

The only thing next to you not having insurance is that you are going to have to do adjectives the leg work. You will probably have to wait on the police report and try contacting the individual and the insurance company to profile a claim with them. If no luck there, you will own to take her to small claims court. That's no fun, and it's a process that can take up to 90 days until that time any action is taken.

It looks like you may be out of luck! Since you had no insurance, YOU are responsible for the first $10,000 of damages. Seem close to a big price to pay for NOT paying a few bucks a month for liability insurance!

This came from the website of the Irpinio Law Firm surrounded by Louisiana:

No Pay, No Play

If there is no insurance available for one of the vehicles involved surrounded by an automobile accident, Louisiana's "No Pay, No Play" statute (La.R.S. 32:866) will be applied. This statute which became influential in 1998 forbids a motor vehicle owner who does not have liability insurance from recovering the first ten-thousand dollars of any bodily injury or property devastate claim. This means if you are driving a car minus insurance you give up the right to collect your first ten-thousand dollars of personal injury and property damage claims.

These requirements apply not with the sole purpose to Louisiana residents but also drivers from other states which require their drivers to carry liability insurance. However, accidents cause by drunk drivers or hit and run drivers are not subject to the "No Pay, No Play" law. In these situations, victims are allowed to recover despite not have any insurance. Passengers in a vehicle that lacks valid insurance are also not subject to the "No Pay, No Play" limitation. If the involved passenger is also an owner of the vehicle at issue, later the "No Pay, No Play" limitation is applicable.

The provisions of this statute have changed through legislative amendment and judicial interpretation. A licensed attorney can assist you within understanding these changes and insure that your rights will be fully protected.

Don't breed yourself ill. Its really inconvenient, but a car is a piece of metal. Worth smaller quantity than your life. I have to right to be heard your a bit of a nut for not getting insurance, there would be no problem with claiming otherwise! But if the officer are on your side and she admitted fault next something may be able to get done- its rock-hard to say without you have insurance- her insurance company won't be happy! I think you will own to wait for the police report, then contact the lady/her insurance company and procure the claim moving. Whats the point in getting car insurance if you haven't get a car?? They can't back date it any! Perhaps you could settle cash with this female. .. However why should they pay for someone who couldn't be bothered to insure their car- if it was that defining to you, you would of! Anyway, just chill. Its happend, cant change the recent past.
