What do I need to attain my license in Texas? I have it for 6 months and took drivers ed. How long will it take? Will I own to take any check?
Hey carguy, you're wrong. In Texas, even if you give somebody a lift drivers ed, you still have to transport the driving test. Whoever told you that is to say wrong.
Read the manual, and walk to the DPS website. The written, vision, and driving test are all MANDATORY unless you're transferring a license from another state.
You want to go to your DMV, beside your valid permit, AND A CAR, and an appointment (yes, you obligation to schedule your road theory test in advance) and miss the road test. No one is going to post your license to you until you do that.
