What is going on?

I wreck my friend's car while driving with her consent
*The other driver drove off, found a place to park, then run off w/ the license plate
*A passenger in my friends coup¨¦ said I ran a red light, however i did not see one
*The police be called to scene, no tickets were issued
*my friend and I argued as days go by
*she has even tried to get money out of me within dirty ways
*I have tried to be responsible and call her and her fam to check the status of the insurance and her..never get hold of an answer
*her insurance switched either the claim adjuster or number
*the guy has in a minute been identified by insurance, no word yet on whether charges will be file or how does that work in this case
*i am simply completely confused and left in the shadows about everything. I want to call the insurance pay for and talk to them and see whats going on but i don't want to seem wily by talking to them but I don't know whats going on. besides, i have desperate vibes and i don't trust her anymore!

I want to put up for sale...

1. You are 100% liable
2. If it was a hit and run, police should investigate and the insurance company might pursue that personality - but still - you are 100% liable
3. Of course you are going to argue with your friend...it is stressful dealing with an chance and insurance. Give it time to pass once it is resolved.
4. You don't have the right to access insurance information minus their permission, therefore you can't follow up near the insurance comapny without going through her.
5. Don't let this ruin your friendship! And, she can embezzle you to small claims court and get money out of you that way (which some might spectacle as "dirty ways" also). You are 100% liable - I know that sucks - but that is your reality.

Be prepared to remuneration.
Take responsibility.
Work at keeping the friendship going - you were obviously well-mannered enough friends to have her share her vehicle with you.
NEVER drive anyone's car - EVER. It is a doomed to failure, bad idea and insurance stays next to the vehicle not the person. That means even if you have insurance of your own, it still wouldn't pay. Only the insurance provider for that vehicle is responsible. They can deny the claim then you are up for 100% of the cost along next to the car's registered owner. Had you killed someone, they would have be in just as much trouble as you. Sorry, again, I will reiterate, you are 100% liable.
I can't speak for everywhere, but contained by the state of Texas, liability coverage is the responsibility of the car owner and is required by law. Just because no tickets be issued, does not mean fault have not been determined by police officers on the scene, you should try and carry a police report on the accident. My insurance policy covers under insured/uninsured motorists and if it be my car it would be covered. Whether you are responsible for any damages depends a lot on that police report and what considerate of insurance coverage your "friend" had.

If you buy a used vehicle at...

no tickets no prob tell her to pull the stick out of her flipside and listen

Car Tags......?

Answers:    like others stated...usually the insurance follows the vehicle...meaning IF here is valid and current insurance on your friends vehicle then you have zilch to worry about!! Like some one said early this is why you never let someone drive your car...if I permit you drive my car and you cause 10,000 vandalize to someone then I AM responsible.
Being that you were involved contained by the accident you do have the right to call for the insurance adjuster to find out whats going on. Technically speaking your friends insurance company is there to protect anyone in their vehicle.

As near your friend..if I were you...to smooth things over I'd offer to at smallest pay her deductible whether or not you caused the misfortune.

Does anyone know if theres another process...

so if u have fruitless vibes, do what is right and call the insurance company. :)

Car insurance claim problem. any option ??

If the accident be your fault, you should offer to pay packet the deductible. If it was not your fault, and the other driver did not own insurance, your friends insurance will have to repair her vehicle. Again, you should offer to compensate the deductible. However, if the other party was at criticize and did not have insurance and your friend has UMPD, that will maintain her from having to pay any deductable.
