What to do when i rearended someone, no police report?

It was raining and I was driving. Suddenly a coup¨¦ in front of me stopped and I stomped on my brakes. The cars wouldn't stop and we collided. Based on the system, I am considered at fault for rearending her. She said she stopped because she looked-for to let a car, contained by the oncoming traffic, make a turn into the parking lot. I mean, she have the right of way. We exchanged ins. and other stuff. I was going to give the name the police, but she said that she was in a hurry to pick up her grandson. She said she wasn't hurt at the time. It's be two days. Should I report it to the police? Do I have to report it? Should I contact her to settle this? What would be the best case scenario? Also man 17 and only having my license for 10 months, what would evolve to my insurance and driving record if I report it?

I dont know about your state but within mine if a police report isnt filed within 24 hours she is S O L in that is nothing she can do I was backside ended at a stop light beside witnessess and she had small children in the saloon one hit the windshield and was bleeding so i just took her identify and licence plate no. and phone number well i called her the subsequent day with an estimate and she have her number change went to the police and told sorry roughly your luck, sucks being you so good luck u should b e ok check it out befor u come clean fault.

How much should we ask the insurance...

i believe you solely have 48 hours for reporting an accident so if you havent hear anything by now you shouldnt worry roughly speaking anything. well you rearended her so it would be 100% your fault and your sports car insurance would probably double. you dont have to report if both parties not here the scene with with one and the same conclusion. please add me to your contacts so i know!!

Car Insurance and Tax experts individual please!!?

Answers:    well I get rearended a couple of years ago. No damage to the back of my saloon, and no damage to the person who rearened me front subdivision of his car. Neither one of us was hurt, so no police report be filed. And I still drive the same motor, it is fine.
I think only if you win hurt, or your car gets diluted then you should file a report
