I am a 19 year old male, and I am paying $745 every six months to insure my 91 jeep cherokee near liability only. I lost my license when I was 17, (two speeding tickets). I don't know what state you are in but the tickets can stay with you for oodles years. But until you turn 26 you will have to pay large insurance. If you can take a safety course that will lend a hand your rates go down, that usually costs about $100 or smaller quantity but it will help bring down the cost of your insurance.
