In February 2005 a speeding taxi driver drove into the posterior of my minibus. He then get 2 of his friends to give false statements to speak that I had pulled out straight in front of him and slammed my brakes on. (That be a lie, and nearby were no witnesses to the happenstance at all)
Next he served me with a claim for lb11,000. damages, including whiplash, even though it be his fault. I protested this and insisted on it going adjectives the way to court.
In court the find had to alert him about his constant lying, and he finish up dropping his case in the past they could find him guilty of being surrounded by contempt of court. It turns out this was the 4th time he have sued somebody for back and décolletage injuries that were his own defect. (Although he couldn't remember any of these incidents in court!)
Anyway, the short of it is his insurance company be ordered to pay lb5000 of my costs and lb480 damages to me for my minibus pay for step. He had gone to a no win no duty company.
