Hi. I was simply recently contained by a car misfortune. Fortunately no one be hurt. I was going through an uncontrolled intersection (residential nouns, no stop or yield signs, abundantly of parked cars) and another car slammed into my fund right tire/back right passenger door. The cops came (nobody get a citation as there be no stop or yield signs). The cop say I'm more at fault since I didn't abandon to the right, but I was already within the intersection and SHE slammed into ME. The insurance company didn't give me a definate answer. So who's at imperfection in this situation? I'm newly worried so my premiums don't shoot up. Thanks for your time.

Where was the saloon coming from? Were they making a right turn when they hit you? Did they YIELD to you when the hit you? Did they apply the brake at all? Did YOU see the sports car before it hit you? If so, when did you see them and be there anything you could own done to avoid the accident?
Reason why I'm asking this is because I'm an insurance adjuster and I assess liab everyday, adjectives day. It seem like you have control of the lane already, therefore the other vehicle have a duty to yield to you. Get pictures of your damages and an estimate and dispatch to your adjuster. Even ask if an appraiser can come out and look at the vehicle. Don't listen to the police officer cause they own no idea what they are chitchat about. Half the time we never believe police reports because they weren't near to witness the accident. That's another angelic question, do you enjoy a witness? That can help too.
But as i can see it, you have control of the lane, regardless if it uncontrolled. But if the other vehicle was going straight the other method, then it adjectives depends on who was at the intersection first. Since the damages are at the backside right side, you had already made it mostly across the intersection when they hit you, again---you have control of the lane. They're mostly at fault. If you're adjuster say otherwise, have them telephone call me! lol
