Why is Bristol West Insurance so Horrible?? Help!?

OK I was in an chance with a driver that was insured near Bristol West (she ran a red light but wont allow it). I have called them to gross a claim every single day(3-5 per day) for 3 weeks now! I have moved out dozens of messages & I havent gotten a single call back from the adjuster or anyone! I telephone call te main # again (many times) & everytime I tell them they say aloud 'hold on' & FW my call to another adjuster that doesnt answer or return calls any! Look plenty of ppl say the same article!

So I emailed & called today & said that if someone doesnt return my calls I will hold to get a lawyer involved. What else can I do?? Please provide me some pointers??

10 points What is the black book...

Is there some cause YOU are making these calls instead of your agent? Start repairs using your collision coverage, and have your insurance contact the other company to catch their money, and your deductible back from the at fault event.

Oh, the threat of involving an attorney won't do much good, if you do so they have attorneys too and the undamaged thing can wind up person tied up for years.

Do i contact insurance if the guy...

Did the police come out to the accident site? Was the other party cited for running the stop desk light? You need to get a copy of the police commotion report for your records and this should show all the details.

Contact the Department of Insurance contained by your State and file a complaint.

You should also contact YOUR agent - hopefully, BW is NOT YOUR company also.

You COULD get an attorney but BW is "owned" by Farmers Insurance Group which is owned by Zurich - and they own "FREE" lawyers just sitting around waiting to hear from your attorney.

Send another email or call and start talking (ok, RANTING if you must) in the order of Deceptive Trade Practices - which normally means they conclusion up paying out "three times the money" - that MIGHT get them off "limp center."

Good luck and I hope this helps.

Are adjectives allstate saloon insurance agents impossible...

Answers:    Because they can, simply. Bristol West is essentially a third party administrator for an assortment of insurances. Even if you had collision coverage, the two insurance companies would enjoy trouble duking it out because BW chooses not to participate in intercompany arbitration ( an independent forum that allows one company to persue the other within lieu of a trial). In other words, when push comes to shove the only method of recourse with Bristol West is suit.

I remember your interrogate about liability from several weeks ago. What I strongly suggest you do is call BW claims and do the following:
1. Track every ring up you make to BW (times/dates/amount of time you are on hold, and who you speak to)
2.. Ask to speak to a claims supervisor/manager immediately.
3. Advise whoever you speak near you intend to file a complaint with the Dept of Insurance for breakdown to resolve your claim in a timely manner.
--Even if the claim hasn't be resolved, they should be communicating with you with a phone nickname or a letter to that effect. The other party be probably injured and their focus is on resolving that end. Your car is a total loss. You should sway on to any and all paperwork resulting including your rental bill.
--If you do file a complaint next to the DOI, send it registered mail/return receipt. It's vital you retain copies.
