Will buying non-runflats manufacture our Gieco insurance travel up? Or can they deny our claim?

We recently bought a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0 w/ sport pack. We obligation to replace the rear runflat tires (255/35/18) but we don't want another set of runflats. Could our Geico insurance stir up because of this? Could they deny our claim if something happened as a result of the non-OEM tires? I can't find anything within our policy about it.

I get into a vehicle fluke later...

Answers:    I doubt any claims would be denied unless in attendance is something specific in your policy something like keeping OEM equipment on the car. That beings said you should rethink putting non runflats on the flipside only. I own a car near runflats ( Cadillac CTS-V) and another car beside no spare tire from the factory with solely a can of sealant/ inflator ( Lotus Elise) . The properties of run flats vs. non runflats makes it a bleak idea to the two types on a saloon. Just as one should NEVER EVER put two different brands or types of tires on the same saloon. Putting runflats and non runflats on a car will mess up the handling of the saloon due to the huge difference in sidewall stiffness etc between the two types.

What are my option after an coincidence?

never hear of that...but why ask here? ask the caveman himself
