Im going to buy a dirtbike and im not sure whether to get a 125 or 250cc 2 stroke. Im 16 years prehistoric and i weigh 140 pounds. I would be riding in field and dirt roads. I wont use it for racing.
Also, I enjoy no riding experience.
Answers: That last chunk of your sentence says it best. "Also, I hold no riding experience". A 125 would be your better bet. 250's have arm straightening power to them and could effortlessly overwhelm a new rider. Once you hold some time off road, you can look into moving onto a bigger bike. Besides, what you should be really worried roughly speaking learning right presently is proper balance and braking. Any idiot can move about out there and verbs the throttle on either of these bikes and wrap themselves around a tree of late as quick. Start past its sell-by date with a smaller bike, you'll be well you did later on. :)
