what is the best oil to run within my fully rebuilt 1977 yamaha DT 250 motor....
Answers: I would use Yamalube surrounded by the oil cistern with a 40-1 mix surrounded by the first tank of fuel. Use single non-ethanol premium fuel in this bike.
You can use a 10-40 or 20-50 grease in the gearbox. Change it after 25-50 miles to remove any shavings or gasket sealer that may be gone over from the rebuild. After that you can verbs using that oil or switch to a fancy motorcycle tranny grease.
