i have a 1980 suzuki gs750e with square headlight could any one describe me if this bike is rare being have square headlight ?and also what does the e stands for after the 750.? i was told this bike was occasional but i dont know it has only 12000 miles on it is this virtuous miles for this year of bike??

Answers: I owned a '80 GS1100E ... ran like a scalded ape! magnificent wheelie machine, but the 85 mph speedo didn't do the bike justice... LOL ... I loved that bike and finally converted it over to a drag strip single bike running mid 9 second quarter mile...
anyway, no, it is not overly rare and I believe all the 750 & 1100 E models have square headlights in 1980 and the E is the model. There were also an S (sporty beside small bullet cafe style fairing, useless, merely looks) and an L (which was more the lowrider styling with a bit taller bar, lower seat, raked out a little) models ...
I would read out 12K miles is fairly low on a 28 year old bike ... that would be the rarest entity about the bike though...
those would run forever with minimal repairs (other than burning the rear tires off quickly).
