Answers:    Well the 1098 R is going to be 40,000$ while the aprilia runs 17,000$ in it's top form. The Aprilia is said to be the equal to the Ducati within every aspect besides engine power. The Ducati makes 180 hp while the Aprilia make 143. The question is do you own the money and skill to ride the ducati? Truth be told you would be better off buying a 20k 160 HP 1098s and doing some minor upgrades and you'd own a 1098R for all intents and purposes but own 15k left over to as you craving with.
