I was wondering if pocket bikes are officially recognized in cali, and what size they are. They look kinda tiny contained by pictures, but I'm only 5'1-5'2"ish, 90-95lb so I'm thinkin these pocket bikes might fit me better than regular sports bikes. I LOVE the look of sports bikes but I'm not sure at my size I could bar one. So I found a site for pocket bikes, and from the engine specs, it sounds like something I could feel.
I mainly want to ride this bike from home to university, local, no highways. Are these bikes risk-free? How much smaller are they compared to regular sports bikes? Who usually rides these? They're sooo cute!
Answers: sorry to say but the pocket bikes are ot endorsed for street use in california if you are serious almost getting a bike look at the 250cc sportbikes from honda , yamaha and susuki
Pocket bikes are not legal on public roads surrounded by California. You should look into a real motorcycle for transportation. Don't be panicky because you are not very elevated, there are streetbikes that are not that big, look into 250cc bikes to start.
