I'm looking at buying a 2004 zx-636 for $3700 with smaller number than 3000 miles on it.
The seller said the bike be "Laid Down" in his driveway. The title is clear. He said he fixed it and made adjectives the repairs. On a couple of the pictures he sent me I can see some damage contained by the frame and a little on the muffler. The decals are also missing so any he took them off or the fairing enjoy been replaced.
I required to get an inference, is the damage on the frame serious? Would I hold to get it repaired down the road? If I did how much would it be to own it repaired. Am I buying a bike that could mean trouble or is it other?

Answers: I try not to get a bike that own been repainted basis you do not know what kind of hurt actually did come about or what type of use it got.. Sometimes empire have bikes that they use for the track and split it up and dropped it a few times.
You wont see the damage unless you start taking out the plastics and see what s underneath. With the miles it can be rather tough. It can be from a different bike that they found a replacement speedometer from or it may well be correct.. Check the rotors for wear and brake pad for life. Check to see tire wear or see if they are the factory OEM tires. Usually tires will supply you about 4 to-5000 miles Ask for receipts of work perform, look for dates and mileage if done at shop.
If you bring back a bike with frame wreck it will cost you lots of cash and time . It does not brand sense to get it unless you gain a deal and want to use it as your track bike and slit it up some more. O course if you can work on it yourself will be the ticket. If you take it to the shop it wont be a buy and sell anymore.
There are lots of bikes out there that are stock next to similar or like miles that look better and don't hold a cloud of mystery behind them. Sorry if this does not bequeath you a positive response on your interest in this bike.

Personally i would enjoy to ride it before decide. If it rides well consequently i would definitely purchase it. If you did lapse up having problems you could module it out and make that much. If it rides straight and smooth near no vibrations, etc. at all speeds consequently i would definitely buy it.
