I saw on the internet, a turbine powered bike, with a detachable big wing mounted above. He then drove over a cliff at speed and flew away. Could we do this near a lightweight dirt bikes that jump into the upper air all the time?

Answers: I saw a video of a scooter attached to a parasail, and it worked. Nothing is impossible if you are crazy plenty to try it. Man didn't learn to fly by sitting on his butt.
I presume the turbine powered bike be actually propelled by the turbine exhaust; within that case a bike could fly if it have enough thrust. A conventional dirtbike is propelled by the traction of the flipside wheel; contained by this case the dirtbike (with wing) would simply become a glider once it moved out the ground. The length of the flight would be determined by the glide ratio of the wing, altitude of the cliff and any thermal updrafts that might be present.
