hey there i ride a jr80 and latley i hold noticed when i turn over bigger tree roots or even a small bump i feel it to the maxx.
I be wondering can you buy better rear suspension or shocks?
i be talking to the boys at my academy today and they told me i could but you have to erect up the back of your bike and see what the swingarm does he said' if it stays on the ground you can put a bigger shock on it' but if you can hoist it up of the ground you can't' i was a bit confused?
can some one please help me and explain it?
Answers: Assuming you own no leaks, you enjoy a pre-load adjuster on your rear suspension you should know how to turn it up, check your manual for the standard settings, the boys at arts school are talking in the order of checking static sag but come across a little confused give or take a few what that means. Depending on where on earth you are there are engineering firms that will start again suspensions to suit your weight and you can buy a current stiffer shock that will bolt straight in.
