Answers: What I recommend is taking a course with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Now, there are different law effecting different states, so YMMV, but in Utah, when I got my license, I get to skip the driving portion of the test, as I had successfully completed the MSF course, and have a certificate of completion. You will have to check the rules and law for your state, but definitely look into taking an MSF course.
