it doesn't smell like grease. First time i have owned a motorcycle contained by general, i perceive stupid asking this question, but what is that container next to green liquid inside, i don't surmise its engine coolant. by the way my bike have a carburetter its not fuel injected, also my bike does not have a fuel rate, is it possible to install one?
Answers: Raul, the ZX6R was my first bike subsidise in 96, virtuous choice!
Indeed what the others are saying is correct, the green stuff is your coolant overflow.
As heat increases so too does pressure. The coolant pressure needs to travel somewhere other than the road otherwise you would ending up on the bitument!
When your machine cools down, the heat eventually drops so too does the coolant pressure resulting in a denial pressure in your cooling circuit!
Your piece of equipment is carburetted but dont let that bother you. If your ride it rugged then I would suggest getting your carbs syncronised every 5000 on it's services. Along next to that I would ask for valve clearance to be checked at alike time.
I had this done when I owned one and it be dynoed everytime I had it service and never dropped below 105HP.
I clocked 35000kms on it and it never missed a pulse!
They are good machines to revise on if you get a flawless one!
With your fuel gauge. Disregard it. You won't find lots sportsbikes with one on them!
Go to the fuel stop and overrun your machine, reset your trip meter and clock up some kms or miles. Make sure your bike isn't on it's reserve as capably.
Once you run out of fuel, switch your fuel valve to reserve and purloin note of your mileage! Go stuff up and reset your trip!
This is what half of the riders do out nearby on their machines. It's quite painless to do as resourcefully.
Remember, if you ride hard your mileage will drop, so don't stretch the run between gas stations if you don't construe you will make it!
I used to procure around 200 odd kms on my bike when I have it as a reference for you!
Have fun!
