82 Yamaha Virago 750. V twin. I pulled off the cistern, air intake hoses, fuel lines, etc. All according to the brochure. The carbs are free and wiggle around, but will not clear the cylinder head no matter which instrument I twist them. How do I verbs these out?
Answers: Get a pry bar and they will pop right out.
You may own to take the intake spigots past its sell-by date. They are what hold the carbs in. Usually they are 4mm hex, loosen the bottom bolt, run out the top bolt. The bottom is slotted so bolt removal is not necessary. Remember which side is which, they may vary...also, remember the sequence in which you verbs them out, you may need to do the exact disparate during re-installment. Hope this helps.
