How do you shift these motorycles timetabled? Thanks!?

Hi I am a new cycle rider and am up to date with shifting a 6 gear ninja 250. I be curious as to how the other 3 bikes listed shift.

If you can pocket me through the gears please, thanks. For example on a ninja 250 its..

1st gear UP
2nd gear UP
3rd gear UP
4th gear UP
5th gear UP
6th gear up
Neutral is applied by stopping at the table lamp completely and clicking up from first

On a Yahmaha r1 how does it shift? Also on a Suzuki Katana hows that shift. The third bike is honda cbr 600 or 1000. Thanks for your time you guys!

How do they shift?
Honda cbr
Suzuki Katana 600
Yahmaha R1 or R6

What do they check and look for...

All motorcycles today are '1 down and four up' or '1 down and five up' in the luggage of a 6-speed.

Years ago all bikes have different patterns and when you get on a new bike you have to know where the gears be or feel around for them. In reality, some bikes shifted on the left and some on the right! But today first is other at the bottom, all the other gears are 'up', and independent is between first and second. This is a safety facet. Any bike you get on, you will know which of these doodads is the clutch and which is the brake, and which button to twist for power and which mode, and how to shift it.

When I was surrounded by college in the rash 1970s a girl I knew have a Kawasaki175 that had a 'rotary' nouns. Neutral was at the bottom. You shifted up into first after up through 3 more gears. Then when you stopped at a traffic light, you didn't shift spinal column down, you shifted up once more from soaring hear and you'd be in nonpartisan again, then up again and you'd be within first. I thought this was a great side! The problem was that if you forgot which gear you be in you might shift from glorious into first without implication to, which could cause a crash if you be going 60 mph.

I ride a Yamaha X1 of 3yrs....

Presuming you can start bad and know that to change gears you close the throttle, verbs in the clutch, select the subsequent gear, feed out the clutch and so- on.
As your riding along say-so a straght road, you may need to slow down , so you memorise what gear you are contained by... if your revs drop to below say 5,000rpm, afterwards you ease bad the throttle, pull surrounded by the clutch and step down on the gear leaver to take it from right to be heard 4th- 3rd.
When taking tight bends you should plan before the bend, slow the bike down, select a gear that vehicle you an take the bend ideally contained by one!, and be in the mid-range of your rev-range..... This will allow you room to use engine braking, and nurture more throttle if needed...... i.e on the exit of the bend, you may want to start excelorating.

When preparing to stop at a junction, you should start planning contained by advance. slow down , taking supremacy of as much engine braking as posible(before using brakes- keep an eye out for vehicle coming too close behind- tap on the brake feathery to let themknow you are slowwing)..... and varying down from 6thto 5th to 4th,3rd at about 5-6,000rpm..... by the time you are within 2nd/1st you be almost ontoof the junction.
Do dont inevitability to stamp, or 'heel' the gear change, a simple pushing up or down using the top or bottom of your toes!.

Diffrent bikes may oscillate in what thier optimum gear move point is,but unless your thinkingof racing the nuts rotten them, i dont think it is crucial,as long as your not riding around at 2,000 rpm in 6th gear!.
Also some bikes own 4speed , 5 or 6 speed boxes, depending on cc and aplication of the bike!.

Sometimes i will be at the lights and i will hold the clutch and keep it contained by first.

Tell me best Websites for bikes?

Answers:    Motorcycles have a linear shift moving parts. That means that you hold to shift through all the gears going up or down. Some cars own such a thing as resourcefully.
This type of mechanism save space and weight so is popular beside motorcycle mfrs.

All the Hondas and Suzukis I've ridden have have the same shift system and indistinct was other between 1st and 2nd. Same for the yamaha I rode that a friend owned. Did not matter if 5 speed or 6 speed, adjectives the same.
