if i bought a cam shaft for a crf150f and had it installed how much would that cost adjectives together..and how much would it cost if i bought a exhaust for my 150 and had it installed, how much would that be..or how much would they adjectives cost together....basically im 13 and trying to supe up my 150 any sugestions on what to do
Answers: stock camshaft is just about $71 from bikebandit, guessing about 3 hours labor (labor costs can stock from $50-90 per hour depending on location, so roughly $150-$270 labor possibly)...
as for exhaust, something like a FMF powercore 4 for a CRF150F is roughly $250 direct...
but if you are trying to build up a CRF150F for racing purposes, you would be better past its sell-by date saving your money and investing within a true race bike that have all the working equipment like engine, brake system, suspension, etc...
you could pour alot of money into your bike and hold very little gain ... surrounded by my opinion
I you cart it to a shop and have it done it is give or take a few $89.00 an hour for a mechanic to work on your bike. I don't know what the book says for how long a cam shaft replacement should pocket. But exhaust is usually 2 to 3 hour charge.
