My husband has a 1994 suzuki rf900 with 121,000 miles. completely stock and artistic, except tires. He stopped putting major miles on it in 2000. How masses miles have you put on a bike in 6 years?
Tires are adjectives replace average 3 to 5 k miles, Depends of brand and rider, If rider beat the bike, like express speed. Less milages on tires. If we ride loke long touring. Will be last.
I am suprised ur hubby went to 121k miles within 6 years. wow. And It show that motorcycle can run longer time . alot of people end up thier bike underneath 40,000 miles. I went to see junk patio for motorcycles, alot of bikes are under because left out within rain , Left outside during snow times. ( Didnt cover the bike) Uncare bikes. crashed. rusted out. etc.
Tell ur Hubby to try to make over 200k miles on it, And agree to us know.

Answers: The most I ever put on a bike from tentative was 63000. A Honda Pan European 1100cc V four tourer.
It only used 3 pairs of tyres and four sets of brake pad aside from normal servicing.
All the brake hoses were replaced for braided steel by the selling vendor, and its still going strong now, owned by my mate. I think it have around 85000 on it now.

Depends on riders. If rider loves to ride . That is long miles. For me . Just local rides. I will articulate about 6,000 miles a year on Honda CB450 SC. I bought the bike last year and I made it close to 6,000 miles, So conceivably next year I will be more because of crazy gas cost now. Over three dollars per gallons.Tires are adjectives replace average 3 to 5 k miles, Depends of brand and rider, If rider beat the bike, like express speed. Less milages on tires.
