I tried on a Joe Rocket Ballistic 6.0 in my size and it seem pretty tight. Is it normal for your arms to restricted somewhat. I don't contemplate it will interfere with my riding, lately feels extra snug beside the liner in. There be also a jacket with Kevlar that be twice as much. Is Kevlar going to make that much difference?
Answers: A physical bike jacket is usually designed for an impact and slide. This means that the jacket will not shift if you so crop up to fall or slide at a high-ranking rate of speed (cement is great sandpaper). If it does shift during a fall the nouns of movement will basically "strawberry" your skin (thats what it will look resembling and you can only suppose the pain if it have not happened to you yet). I have off the shelf leathers (had joe rocket, dainese, spidi) and they adjectives were great, but at hand was other some area on the arms or shoulders that may own been a moment or two bit loose. You don't think almost it until you have a crash (my personal UN-favorites are crashing at T5 at Thunderhill or lowsliding at the corkscrew at Laguna). When it does crop up you will notice that the poor fitting (non snug) areas of the suit are the areas where on earth you receive the rash.
Your best bet best is to hold it snug (especially so that the armor does not move around). If you go for a loose fitting jacket you pretty much defeat the purpose and design of the jacket (to protect in a fall). You can also try to receive a custom suit made for you...that is probably the best channel, but it is more expensive...
It should be comfortable or you won't wear it, I got mine within a size larger than I normally wear and it is comfortable to wear except on those really hot summer days at the traffic lights.
