I was lane splitting and my exhaust dinked a car's bumper. It was minor and I sped rotten. Would this be considered hit and run if he got my license plate down?
Absolutely. It wasn't minor to him if it damaged his sports car.
Yup it sure would be. Although it's minor wouldn't you be pissed if someone "dinked" your ride and after ran off similar to a criminal? Damaging someone else's property and running is totally irresponsible.
yes it is only just hope he didn't get your plate number
If near was any damage to his saloon sure. If he heard a sound but could find no overexploit I don't see a problem, but you wouldn't know that unless you stopped. How do you have self respect? This is the action of a trashy personality.
I wouldn't verbs about it, the person surrounded by their car was probably busy putting on lipstick, even if it be a guy driving.
I own to also ask, is "lane splitting" legal in your state? I ride a big bike and would never suggest of splitting lanes or riding shoulders etc. It only take one idiot in a car to start a door or stick an arm out. This can happen easily within a traffic jam when "lane splitting" would seem to be used more.

Technically yes ...But not worth stressing about. Law enforcement have better things to do than chase up this sort of minor incident.
Learn from the experience. I don't lane split anymore unless it's at very low speed and there is lots of room.
If you still grain guilty, do someone a good deed and soothe your karma.

If you're old enough to ride a motorcycle, you're weak enough to show responsibility for your actions. If your premonition guilty, good for you. Maybe there's hope for you yet.

Sure would!! Any contact with a vehicle would be considered an chance and not stopping would be considered leaving the scene of an accident.I own to also ask, is "lane splitting" legal in your state?
