I am 16 and i really want to buy a motor scooter... preferebly a vespa. i wouldnt mind a honda metropolitain. i know i cant get my motorcycle liscence untill subsequent but i am apparantly allowed to drive one (in nj) if it is 49cc or less.
i dont know much in the order of how and where to buy it, a pretty good price, or rather anything. anyone know a really devout site with the more vintage looking european-style scooters for not a ridiculous price? thanksss
A vespa or honda metropolitan are vitally the same scooter as any no christen. I would look in the article for a local scooter dealer and you can seize a brand new no cross scooter that look just as honest or better for around $500 here in PA. You can buy used low milleage 49cc's for anywhere around $300
Get adjectives the information you can before you buy a scooter/moped. There is a book out call, The Complete Idiots Guide to Motor Scooters. Don't let the given name of the book put you off because nearby is a lot of biddable information inside that may help you settle on which one and where to buy.

Answers: They are adjectives going to be fairly expensive. You did not contribute a price range. I would suggest looking for a used one surrounded by your local paper or craigslist. Just ride it awhile and provide it when you are ready to move up to something bigger.
