There's one problem though.
I think I own a form of Asbergers. I have a rock-hard time interacting and fitting in socially. The riders hold a lot of social events, n a huge cut of initiation means going to these events and interacting.
What should I do, or can u pass me any tips to not stand out because i'm socially awkward?
The riders I've talked to own shown a lot of love, but consequently I think they mind "something" about me.
Should I consult to the president and tell him almost my social ineptness?
I wouldn't go into any bike club near an initiation, that is a nouns of BS!
Please, I tend not to "fit in", purely by choice! I think on my own, do as I will, and ride where on earth I like!
You should too, explicitly the really cool way to be!
This September I run 700 miles on my 150cc scooter, through the smoky mountains, just to see if I could! Well, I lived, and rode the Dragon next to a Bajaj Chetak!
If you don't fit into crowds, you ought to be more independent, it's lots of fun!
What type of bike club is it?
Your clubs reach from your local dealership sponsored club that meet a few times a month and ride out together to gain dinner or lunch somewhere, to social clubs that are independent and just a group of friends that already dangle out together (kinda like the movie Wild Hogs, police officer and firefighters might have a club), and logically your "1%" m/c (Hell's Angels etc.). All have different level of participation and lifestyle.
Initiation would depend on the club itself again depending on what type of club it is. A social club might consist of self a "slave" for a couple weeks (go get me a beer), but if you are considering joining a more prominent 1% club, next I could not be of any help to you within.
So a better way to ask the sound out would be to state what type of m/c (motorcycle club) you are thinking of joining.
Answers: Judging from your name and avatar, I'm guessing you are feminine. Most 1% clubs won't accept womanly members. If you are trying to link one of these, the women could probably advise you. If you are thinking of joining a club that allows womanly members, later you should talk to the pres. or vice pres or one of the other patchholders something like your problem socializing and to find out what is required of hangarounds or prospects.
The club I belong to is a family club and welcome male and feminine members. Initiation includes a hangaround interval af several weeks to a couple of months, followed by a prospect period af six months.
During the prospect length you will be asked to participate contained by rides and events, to memorize rules and protocol, and to spend time around the other members so they can find to know you and you can get to know them. you will be asked to do work such as parking bikes, working at club sponsered events possible even wash bikes or running minor errands.
you will not be asked to do anything immoral or criminal.
Remeber, when you join an M/C, the other member become like an extended ancestral. we refer to each other as brothers and sisters, and we treat respectively other accordingly.
I don't "fit in" anywhere either ....... I spend alot of money at Stripclubs trying to "build friends",wound up in prison trying to "msake friends" get involved with drug dealer and 1%'s trying to "make friends",tried joing Chihuahua group to "clear friends",tried going to rallies and promoting biker rag to "make firends" and never could ; my bike and the overt road are my best friends ......
