I am looking at purchasing a new bike and am debating between three. The H-D '08 Fat Bob, Vic's '08 Kingpin or Vic's '08 Vegas Jackpot. I am sure that nearby are not too many owners of the up to date '08 models but if you are a previous owner I would like to know your thoughts on the following:
Are nearby any non-bias reviews done on these bikes?
What is your overall satisfaction beside your bike?
What are some of the quarks with any builder?
How is the dependability with any builder?
How satisfied are you near the company? (Maintenance, service, customer relations)
How comfortable is the ride?
Does the stock sound own that deep grumble?
I would prefer real comments, not 'Oh that bike sucks.' Thanks for the help.
Answers: I own a Victory V-92, which is an elder model victory, more of a classic style bike. I love it! I've have very few issues near it since I've bought it, and a few of those were due to my own stupidity. I've ridden the Kingpin, and it's a nice, comfortable ride, I feel very confident on it. It be glued to the road, handle beautifully, and have plenty of power. I rode it for a 300 mile trip and didn't want to give it fund!
Polaris is a world class manufacturer, and they own a phenominal customer service reputation. They are a company that prides itself on customer service, they've realized that the best selling you can get is word of mouth.
As far ast the stock nouns...they're pretty quiet. But for nearly four hundred bucks you can get yourself a shiny unknown set of Vance & Hines longshots that'll fill the bill surrounded by the sound department. My 01 Vic have performed flawlessly, and I've put close to 10,000 miles on it surrounded by the past three years. The simply issue I had be when I put in a stage 1 kit(pipes and a performing chip) I didn't have the ecu recalibrated to the correct settings at first. I get that problem remedied, and have have trouble free riding ever since. I know a lot of ancestors who have Vics and Harleys, and near are good points as very well as bad points to both. It's adjectives a matter of nouns, really. My advise to you is to try and trial ride the bikes you want and decide for yourself which is the more comfortable ride, since the simply person that know what you like is you!
i own a 2001 dyna and own owned 7 other h-d's, and i own a 2006 vic 8ball.
the vic has more power, style, better ride. i am 5'10" and it is close to vic custom built the bike for me. everything is comfortable and within achieve. i invested less than $300.00 within a lloydz fuel management controller, and a k&n nouns filter and the bike really screams. i have to put in over $2500.00 contained by my dyna to come close. i love the dyna, and i love the 8ball. i also like the reality that there are not deeply of vic owners near me. mortal part of the club is nice too, but it is cool human being different. the 8ball runs around $13000.00, you get like mad for your money. the fat-bob is $14795.00 in black.
